There are a few approaches you could use to create horizontally scrolling content:

  • Use the Scrolling Frames interactive widget and set it to Horizontal to make horizontally scrolling content on a page in your flipbook.
  • Instead of as a flipbook, export (either go to in5 > Export HTML5 with in5... or to in5 > Easy Export Wizard... and click the Advanced button, then go to the Basic section of the Export HTML5 with in5 dialog) the document in one of the following Page Formats:
    • Slider (Horizontal)
    • Continuous Scroll (Horizontal)
  • Embed the horizontally scrolling content into your flipbook using the Web Content interactive widget. Here's how:
    1. Export the content that you want to scroll in a separate document using one of the horizontally scrolling page formats.
    2. Back in your flipbook layout, place a rectangle.
    3. With the rectangle selected, go to in5 > Interactive Widgets > Web Content, and navigate to the index.html file of the horizontally scrolling content.
    4. Export the main layout as a flipbook.
