There are a few approaches you could use to create horizontally scrolling content:
Use the Scrolling Frames interactive widget and set it to Horizontal to make horizontally scrolling content on a page in your flipbook.
Universal Scrolling Frames for InDesign
Instead of as a flipbook, export (either go to
in5 > Export HTML5 with in5...
or to
in5 > Easy Export Wizard...
and click the
Advanced
button, then go to the
Basic
section of the Export HTML5 with in5 dialog) the document in one of the following Page Formats:
Slider (Horizontal)
Continuous Scroll (Horizontal)
Embed the horizontally scrolling content into your flipbook using the
Web Content interactive widget
. Here's how:
Export the content that you want to scroll in a separate document using one of the horizontally scrolling page formats.
Back in your flipbook layout, place a rectangle.
With the rectangle selected, go to
in5 > Interactive Widgets > Web Content,
and navigate to the
index.html
file of the horizontally scrolling content.
Export the main layout as a flipbook.
