I've made an animated menu bar that I've positioned just to the left of my multi-page file and I've created open and close buttons. I've put the bar and buttons on a master page and when exported via Publish Online everything appears and functions perfectly. When I export with in5 the menu bar itself is way over to the left. (The page I've designed intentionally doesn't fully cover the screen. I've tried putting the menu bar one or two pixels on the page itself and tried it completely off of the page with the same result. Also the Open Menu and Close Menu buttons aren't working as they should in an in5 export but also work perfectly in Publish Online but not in in5. I've gone back and checked how I have them set up properly with the show/hide feature and logically it should work.

Publish Online and in5 work differently and support different features. Here's more in-depth information on the differences between Publish Online and in5:

I'd be happy to take a look at your InDesign file and your html5_output folder to help troubleshoot if you can send them or a sample file that recreates the issue. You can send them to:

I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to send the file to a contact page? I've watched two different videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R7HnpL8idE and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk0bj5T665g) on building an interactive menu and they both work flawlessly in Publish Online (which has fewer features) but not in in5 (which is more robust). The menu appears way over to the left when I use in5 to export (I've tried so many different setting) and if I click on one of the buttons on the menu it will do what it should but the menu doesn't go away.

You might try using the in5 Menu Builder (in5 > Build Wizards > Menu Builder) to make the menu for you. Here are some videos showing the different in5 Menu Builder options:
