Do you have an example of what sort of ripple effect animation you want to create? For the most part, animation with in5 is applied to the page transitions like the Flipbook peel effect or the slide fade in. There are preset animations within InDesign that in5 supports. You could check if something there looks like what you want, but I don't think there's anything that really looks like a ripple. You're most likely going to need to use another application to create the frames of the ripple animation such as After Effects or Animate. Then you can either assemble the frames into a multi-state object (MSO) (https://ajarproductions.com/in5course/?lesson=msos), or you could use the in5 Image Sequence Interactive Widget (https://ajarproductions.com/in5course/?lesson=overlays).
