Hi, I'd like to create a true or false quiz that keeps track of the user's score. I used the "button anchored to text box" trick to allow buttons within the main quiz MSO to also control the state of my score MSO. Works perfectly in the ePub preview.

I understand that In5 doesn't support that trick, but is there another way to do it?

Thanks!

I was just thinking I could use show/hide buttons to record correct and incorrect answers. That would be good but ideally I'd be able to show an overall score.
Another idea I had was to use a timer mp4 with an end action but the video widget only supports go to next page and go to state, not go to next state :(

Hi Maurice,

Although you can use InDesign's form elements to create quizzes and save selected answers locally, I'd recommend embedding a 3rd party quiz if you want to have it keep score. Here's a video that shows how to embed a matching pairs activity from a service called Educaplay:

How to Embed a Matching Pairs Quiz with InDesign & in5

They offer other types of activities including a Yes/No activity that might work for your True/False quiz, and it will provide the user's score.
