InDesign quits when renaming object states

Question

I posted this on the InDesign UserVoice but I wondered if this was happening for anyone else:

This happens to me regularly. With an object selected, I use the button for Convert selection to multi-state object from the Object States panel. If I then try to rename the states, InDesign immediately quits. Reopening InDesign takes me back to just before I created the MSO.

I've learned to save immediately after creating MSOs and then rename states. That's my workaround. I thought it would be good to mention though, as it seems related to the old inability to rename states bug that was fixed.

I'm using ID 19.4 on MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1
