Autoplay of video not working

Question

I create a monthly publication. Usually have four to six videos embedded. I use the single large play control button for user to "press play".

In the past I have used a video loop as a cover. And set the In5 interactive video widget to "autoplay".

However this seems to have stopped working. I have tried with different videos, also previous videos that were working as autoplay.

You can click on the video to play. It just wont automatically play when page loads. I have updated both In5 plugin AND Indesign to latest versions.

Any help appreciated.

Is the video on the first page? If so, select Mute Video from the in5 Video widget. This will bypass any browser limitations on autoplaying videos without initial user interaction.
