I've a short mp4 video on a cover that is overlaying a static image. I've set it to auto play and loop, which it does and it plays fine, however I do not want the video controls to show at all. I've tried turning them to 'none' in the in5 video menu, but they still show on page load. Is there anything else I can try?

If you already set the Controller skin to "None" in the in5 Video Settings panel, you can also try setting the Controller to "None" in the Adobe InDesign Media panel. There is an article here with screen shots: https://ajar.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/26000036021-how-to-hide-the-big-play-button-and-all-controller-ui-on-a-video

If that doesn't work, feel free to send your file over to us (via Dropbox or WeTransfer) to support@ajarproductions.com and we can take a look.

Many thanks,

In the end I found that the issue is with the version of InDesign. I was using 2020, so I installed in5 in InDesign 2019, re-made the files and the video control bar has now gone as it should.

It maybe something you may want to look at, as my Indesign 2020 does not show an option to hide controller in my version.

Mark
Thank you for your feedback, Mark. Have you tried using Adobe InDesign 2021?
As of yet no, but I will try it, thank you.
