Page Numbers on Master Page don't change on export

Question

I have an auto page number set up on my master page. The page numbers look fine in InDesign, but when I export through In5, they all come out as page 1. I could 'Override master page items' and then export, but that defeats the purpose of setting it up on the master page.

The auto page numbering was part of a button (to the website). Converting that to an object fixed the page numbering issue. Since the page number and the company name are in the same text frame, I'd suggest either separating the two elements or placing a button over just the company name that provides the link to the URL.
