Animation across alternate layouts

Question

Hi, I've noticed that when creating alternate layouts, the timing of animations is reset in the new layout and I need to set the timing again for each layout.

Is there a way around this - eg to carry animation timings across into alternate layouts?
Would layering the elements in my animation (front to back) in the same order as the timing help?
