Hi,

My Document is build with spreads regarding to the fact it will be printed as catalogue as well as used for interactive html output. For exporting html I choose Flipbook. I need to show some videos an images in a popup on the whole "spread" in a flipbook. Now it seems that the popup works bt only shows one half of the video corresponding to the left page size.

Any ideas to show in the full frame?
Thanks in Advance

Justin suggested this could be done with Fixed Position Elements. If that doesn't work, I'd be happy to take a look at your files if you can send them to us at https://ajarproductions.com/pages/contact.php?category=in5&software_issue=bug
Was there ever a solution to this?
I am trying to get this sorted and cannot do it.

The only way I can get the video to appear across the spread is to have it run fullscreen, but when the video ends and closes the flipbook is still in fullscreen and the navigation buttons don't work.

The video runs inside an MSO and I tried adding a button to close the video and come out of fullscreen but the button disappears as soon as the video goes into fullscreen.

This is a bit of a nightmare and, as usual, happening on a job with a deadline!

Video that spans both pages of a flipbook is not supported in in5. In general, we recommend the following:

  • Instead of a video spanning both pages of the flipbook, use the Image Sequence interactive widget to autoplay the frames of the video.
  • Use the Merge Spreads script that comes with in5 and output to a different format.

Because you're adding the video to an MSO and having an issue with navigation, you could try using the in5 Video widget (in5 > Interactive Widgets > Video) to add an End Action to Go To Next Page.
