Interactive forms

Question

I am trying to create a form or text field for a digital work book. I would like for the student to be able to fill out the form and possibly. save, Email and print the form or text field. My research has determined that it has to be exported as an interactive PDF. My test have concluded this. Is there any work around?

This can be added with some custom HTML (and a server-side script like PHP). in5 does now export InDesign form elements as HTML form elements (though some modification made still be required for the functionality described).

in5 now exports form elements as HTML form elements, but you may still need server-side scripts to save the info.
