How do people know there are updates to self-hosted Web Apps?

New question: When / if I update my self-hosted Web App, how will anyone know there have been updates?

Answer 1

The Web App will query your site when an internet connect is available and download any newer files.

If you want the user to know if the files are newer, you may want to add a version number (or date) somewhere in your layout.
