Hi,

since upgrading from InDesign 16.4 to 17.1 my In5 exports are capturing each full page as a .PNG image in the Assets - Images output folder instead of individual images.  In addition the .HTML file are often blank or showing minimal text only.  I have compared all my native settings from each InDesign version and can't determine what has changed.  See screen shot below shows code from a correct and incorrect HTML file.  I have also showed how the entire page thread is being saved in the Assests-Images folder as a .png image rather than just the individual image element.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Dave

Thank you for posting the screenshots. I would recommend downloading the latest version of in5, version 3.8.4, installing that, and re-exporting.

If all of your content is still getting converted into a single PNG, check if the content in your InDesign layout is grouped and in the Advanced section of the Export HTML5 with in5 dialog (in5 > Export HTML5 with in5...) under Advanced Rendering, if Render Groups as Images is selected. If so, deselect it.

If you're still having issues after exporting with 3.8.4 and checking the groups rendering setting, we'd be happy to take a look at your InDesign file or a sample file that recreates the issue. You can send it to:
