In InDesign, I created text box with content "Mycompany®" (with registered mark).

Usually "®" mark need to be in "superscript" so...

In InDesign I create "Mycompany®" but it is rendered as "Mycompany ®" (with extra space that need to be removed manually).

The same case is with "references" like:  "Today is sunny day1" that is rendered as   "Today is sunny day 1" (with extra space that also has tendency to be drop in next line...)

You'll want to make sure you're using styles consistently (apply a character style to the superscript text). And also render text as images on export to keep the design consistent with your InDesign layout.

For "superscript character" proper "character style is assigned to "®".
And I really do not want to convert text to images. Hey, are you serious - Justin for sure would not be happy with such trivial solution?

Please make a quick test and you will see, extra "space" is inserted by in5 exporter.

Thanks in advance to address this issue.

I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear, but I meant choose "Render text as images" on in5 export, which should maintain the layout (not put in the extra spacing, etc.). If you want to send over the InDesign package, we can take a look at what's going on with it. Send us an email with a link (dropbox or wetransfer or similar) to the InDesign file: support@ajarproductions.

Dear in5 team, Any updates on this issue?
We are looking at the spacing issue, but recommend for the time being to render text as images on export. I've successfully output your files with this setting. We will let you know what we find out on the spacing issue.
As for long medical scientific text with "superscripted" references, export to image is not an option, I need to find/replace all spaces that are inserted before "superscripted" character.
Really hope you will address this issue ASAP.
This issue has been fixed in the latest version of in5 (3.6.10).
