I'm checking export times and what affects them, and when checking my activity monitor to see what parts of my system in5 was using i noticed that indesign was only using ~%100 in the %CPU column on an 8 core macbook, indicating its only using 1 core (i think) and no more the %15 of my entire cpu was being utilized while having other stuff open as well. in this post Justin displays a graph with up to %66 of the entire cpu being utilized, so i was wondering if there is anything i can do to speed up exports by utilizing more of my available resources. i will eventually have to switch to a faster macbook but for now making use of more of my system would be good

Not that I'm aware. If you can find a way to allocate more to InDesign, that would probably translate in more CPU for in5.
