Hello for all great in5 developers! Here is one happy customer with some troubling questions!

I have been wondering about several animations-combo problems! Have you noticed problems with stop / play / pause button-actions? Sometimes play button after pause button makes animation combo to start from first step, not from where i paused, even if there is made separate planned path (with delays) to continue. Animations are also funny and weird way unstable sometimes! We are making often many animated objects combo like 5-10 commands/each and also with multiple pages. Could you tell us any idea what could help?

I have a mac with mojave and latest updates!

Big thx already and have a nice day! :)

We'd be happy to help. Would you be able to send us your InDesign package at https://ajarproductions.com/pages/contact.php?category=in5&software_issue=bug
Great, and thank you for very quick answer. :) Could in send my files privately for you, because it is actually our customers material that we are making?
If you send the files to the above link, they won't be posted publicly. They will come directly to us in tech support. Please be sure to send the entire InDesign package (which includes fonts and images).
This question looks interesting--is there any kind of recommended limit to the complexity of animations?
There isn't a recommended limit, but there are some limitations in which animation presets are supported by in5 and browsers (https://ajarproductions.com/pages/products/in5/features.php#s=bounce). Because animating with InDesign presets is somewhat limited in what is available, you might want to consider creating a more complex animation outside of InDesign with Adobe Animate or Tumult Hype and placing it in InDesign as an OAM file (https://ajarproductions.com/blog/2017/09/18/sophisticated-animation-interactivity-into-indesign-out-to-html5-in5-v3-1-sneak-peek/). Beyond that, you would want to make sure the file size wasn't too big. Its size can affect its performance.
