Don't know if this is a bug or not. Since we have the new Audio panel we can set the specific audio file to show or hide controls for playing the sound. But whatever I do, these choices seem to be overwritten by the setting I make in the Advanced-tab in the export-dialog (showing HTML in webbrowser on computer). So it seems they don't do anything.

Am I missing something?

Addition: it seems that you can effectively choose to hide or show for mobile devices. When I use IOS simulator I do get the Audio-controls when I've set that up in InDesign.

But the controls trigger the tap-event on IOS, which is not a good combination with IN5-presentation-mode, where you can tap to go to the next screen. So working with custom buttons to start a sound seems like a better idea.

On computerscreens the Controls do not seem to trigger the click-event to jump to the next screen. But they are big and ugly. On IOS they are small.

Suggestion:
I think it would be nice to have a choice which kind of controller you get. And to choose which audio files get controllers and which ones do not (at the moment it's showing or hiding controllers on computerscreen for all audiofiles).

Hi Peter,

Thanks for detailing this. I will investigate it and work on a solution.
