Oh thats great, It was late last night when I downloaded the extensions so didnt actually try it out before i wrote. I’m going to install them right now and get to work using them.

Oron, Thanks for the comments! If I understand your question, you only need look at the features list for the Guide Maker extension a little closer. You can set x & y both to 0,100%. It will calculate the stage height/width for you. Then save the set for quick reuse. I have a saved set for stage borders that I use all the time!

Hey Justin. Its so great to have found your extensions, I just grabbed a bunch of them and they will totally speed up my work and make alot of repetitive and tedious tasks not suck as much

I actually found your site while looking for an extension that sets guides (lines) to the four stage borders, I’ll use your guide maker now but I’ll have to manually set the x to 0 and stage length and the y to 0 and stage height (I think). I was wondering if you knew of something that does just that with one click?

- the color: I will have to wait for the next release (or the one after)…

- changing frames: I already have AnimSlider which is a great tool, but unfortunately doesn’t work really stable with CS4. I did try FrameSync yet, but I will!

- the brushes: I keep my ears wide open for news !

Tom, Currently, you can't actually color the layer or frames (tweens have special colors). There is a layer color that can be set that will show up when the layer set to outlines. Re: changing frames of a graphic easily, take a look at Animonger's AnimSlider which slides back and forth the way you described, or alternatively, my FrameSync extension, which uses frame labels within the symbol to navigate with a click.

Sorry, I’m not a native speaker (writer). I meant just colorize instead of the standard gray. Like a layer in photoshop.
For example i could have one character in one layer group (green) and another in the red group. It would improve the orientation in complex files.

Even more flexible would it be to colorize frame #3 to #56 in layer 6 to indicate here’s where the character waves his hand for example. I know i can use the frame label, but it’s faster and more intuitive to use colors.

Taking the risk to annoy you:
Regarding the subject of graphic symbols. I’m dreaming of the possibility to change the number of the start frame (in single frame mode) by right clicking the symbol on the stage and changing the value by pulling the mouse left and right with a real time preview.

I’m working with flash since 2002. I’m using frame by frame drawn animation a lot.
The coarse and not saveable adjustment of the timeline zoom is annoying. Also an option to tint layers or frame (-sequences) within the timeline would be great…
