Update on the HTML into InDesign Project

We previewed an extension idea a few months back that could Place HTML into InDesign for ePub.

We’ve been working on it ever since, but have run into several hiccups with InDesign. We’ve decided to put this project on hold for the time being and will incorporate some of the interactivity ideas into the next version of in5.

One of the top interactivity requests from EPUB creators was the desire to include Scrollable Frames in EPUBs (and potentially Publish Online documents). We’re working with Chad Chelius from InCopySecrects to make this a reality. Stay tuned.

Update: Scrolling Frames (for EPUB, Publish Online, etc) now available.
